We always knew the homes at Papillon North Ocean Boulevard were second to none – and in a class of its own – and now it’s nice to know it’s official, as the winner of the 2018 Residential Real Estate Award given out by The Grant Center for Real Estate and Economics at Coastal Carolina University.
“This crowning achievement for Papillon is a true reflection of what we aimed to provide in a luxury home community right off the ocean even before groundbreaking,” says David Stradinger, president of Winchester Development.
The ceremony was held Dec. 3 on the CCU campus in the Johnson Auditorium of the Wall College of Business building. Crystal Awards were presented to winners in the residential, commercial, resort and tourism, government/public/nonprofit, and restaurant real estate award categories.
These prestigious real estate awards, founded by the Tony and Carrie Grant Fund, celebrate real estate distinction each year within Horry and Georgetown counties, S.C., and Brunswick County, N.C.
When Winchester Development Group and Myrtle Beach-based Sands Building Group partnered to create the award-winning Papillon North Ocean Boulevard, they wanted the resulting development to redefine coastal home living in Myrtle Beach, with pedestrian-friendly elements, 61 quality-built homes and traditional Lowcountry family designs.
“And, on top of that, I think the strength of Papillon is also built on the fact that the ocean is only a short walk from your front porch,” says Joe Morrison, president of Sands Building Group, “and a few minutes’ walk away from some of the beach’s best restaurants, shops and theatres, along with a nationally renowned hospital.”
Papillon’s quality is proven in its natural beauty, quality, layout and unbeatable location. “This is one of the very rare opportunities to purchase a new build this close to the ocean without any hotels nearby,” says Woodard, “which is why they’re selling fast.”
